SettlementResearchGroupofPekingUniversity,Urban&RuralPlanning&DesignInstituteofYunnan.Yunnanfolkhouse[M].Beijing:ChinaElectricPowerPress,2017.SimplifiedsimulationassessmentmethodoffirespreadingriskintraditionalvillagesinSouthwestChinaZHANGJian,SONGZhigang,ZHANGYu,GAOXuewen(FacultyofCivilEngineeringandMechanics,KunmingUniversityofScienceandTechnology,Kunming650500,China)Abstract:Firespreadsimulationismarkedbylargeworkloads,highprofessionalism,highcost,anddifficultyinacquiringbasicdata,whichmakeitdifficulttoapplyittothefirespreadriskassessmentoftraditionalvillageswithalargenumberanddiversearchitecturalstyles.Tocopewiththese,thispaperproposesasimplifiedclassificationmethodforthefirespreadrisklevelofvillagebuildings.First,theregulargridlayoutmodelofthevillagebuildingsisestablishedbyborrowingtheidealbuildinglayoutformoftheHamadamodel.Thedifferencesbetweenvariousvillagebuildingsarereflectedbyadjustingthesinglebuildingtype,openingrate,andbuildingspacingintheregulargridlayoutmodelasdifferentfirescenarios.Then,aphysicalmodelisusedtoanalyzethespreadofdifferentfirescenarios.Thefirespreadrisklevelofdifferentvillagebuildingsissimplyclassifiedbythefirespreadrangeandspreadspeed.Finally,thetypicalrepresentativeoftraditionalresidentialbuildingsinYunnanProvince,suchascourtyard-style,soil-palm,railingstyle,andlogcabinbuildingsisselectedasacasetoverifytheeffectivenessofthismethod.Theresultsshowthat,combinedwithasimplesitesurvey,thefirespreadrisklevelofdifferentvillagebuildingscanbequicklydeterminedaccordingtotheclassificationtableoffirespreadrisklevelsofdifferentbuildingtypesofvillagebuildingsobtainedbythemethodinthispaper.Intermsoffireprotectionrenovationorbuildinglayoutplanning,itissuggestedthatthefireseparationdistancebetweenbuildingsshouldbegreaterthan4munderthepremiseofreasonablycontrollingtheopeningratioofbuildingincourtyard-styleandsoil-palmbuildings,thefireseparationdistancebetweenrailingstylebuildingsshouldbegreaterthan8m,andthefir...
