Designation:F6713Standard Specification forUnalloyed Titanium, for Surgical Implant Applications(UNSR50250,UNS R50400,UNS R50550,UNS R50700)1This standard is issued under the fixed designation F67;the number immediately following the designation indicates the year of originaladoption or,in the case of revision, the year of last revision.Anumber in parentheses indicates the year of last reapproval.Asuperscriptepsilon()indicates an editorial change since the last revision or reapproval.1.Scope*1.1 This specification covers the chemical, mechanical, andmetallurgical requirements for four grades of unalloyed tita-nium strip, sheet, plate, bar, billet, forging, and wire used forthe manufacture of surgical implants.1.2 The values stated in either SI units or inch-pound unitsare to be regarded separately as standard. The values stated ineach system may not be exact equivalents;therefore, eachsystem shall be used independently of the other.Combiningvalues from the two systems may result in non-conformancewith the standard.2.Referenced Documents2.1 ASTM Standards:2B265 Specification for Titanium and Titanium Alloy Strip,Sheet, and PlateB348 Specification for Titanium and Titanium Alloy
